Our Story
It started with one mini donkey
Circle H Haven opened in 2025, when founder Nichol Hollingsworth took in a single mini donkey as a companion animal. Word travels fast in West Texas when someone says yes — within months, the haven had grown into a working rescue with more than sixty horses, donkeys, and mules in its care.
It’s still a family operation: Nichol’s daughter helps run the daily care, and the whole family puts in the hours — before work, after work, and at two in the morning when a rescue needs it.
